Small-Sized Solar-Powered Radio-Controlled Watches That Gather Light and Sparkle

Tokyo- (PanOrient News) Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced that it will release two new SHEEN watches that feature a smaller face design (SHW-1500/1501: 5 models in total), with the first model going on sale from November 12.

SHEEN is a line of metal watches that offers a gorgeous look for women, based around the concept of “Smart & Elegance”.

The new watches include features such as multi-dimensional light-gathering crowns and luxurious bands finished using Sallaz polishing. The sophisticated face designs enhance a women’s beauty and offer a style that can be enjoyed in the same way as jewelry.

SHW-1500 (4 models) has a beautiful light-reflecting design that features a crescent moon in the 4 o’clock position and a glittering star design positioned at 9 o’clock, the company said. A sunshine and flower pattern, representing a woman’s radiance and dignity, is shown at the center of the face. These models are also able to receive time-calibrated signals from two stations in Japan and one in China.

SHW-1501 model is able to receive time-calibrated signals via multi-band 6 radio-controlled system transmitted over a huge area from six stations around the world (two in Japan, and one each in China, the US, Germany and the UK). The face, bezel and band are all chic black in color, giving the watch a cool and sophisticated look.

The new models will be priced between 36,000 and 45,000 yen (before tax,) according to Casio.
