Equipped with next-generation “Premium Auto Pro” shot function

Tokyo- (PanOrient News) Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will release the new top model in its EXILIM digital camera line, the EX-ZR200, on November 18, 2011.

Powered by the EXILIM Engine HS, a high-performance engine combining high-speed shooting technology and high-speed image processing technology, the EX-ZR200 provides a stress-free shooting experience with its speedy functions from startup to shutdown, the company said.

The EX-ZR200 is a compact digital camera that takes beautiful looking photographs through Casio’s high-speed technology.

The new EXILIM digital camera includes features such as a 0.98-second fast startup and 0.13-second high-speed auto focus. The minimum time gap between shots is 0.27 seconds. The high-performance CPU allows users to enjoy the ability to take photos in quick succession even when using HDR.

It also has a Premium Auto Pro, which is an improvement on the image processing technology from the previous model. The high-speed continuous combination of images automatically changes depending on the shooting environment. This, according to Casio, improves the quality of images taken in difficult conditions, such as night scenes, backlighting, and when zooming.

Premium Zoom is another feature that introduces a wide-angle 24mm, 12.5x optical zoom lens which offers a performance equivalent to a maximum of a 25x zoom while retaining the image quality needed for high-resolution photography.

“Wide Shot” allows users to create ultra-wide-angle photographs with a maximum focal length of 14mm (35mm equivalent) by moving the camera while shooting.
