CASIO Releases New Prestige Super Strong Outdoor Watch

Tokyo- (PanOrient News)Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today that it will release a new outdoor watch, the PROTREK "PRX-7000T" from its MANASLU prestige line, on April 6. The new watch is the first analogue model in the PROTREK line-up.

MANASLU is named after a mountain in Nepal that is one of the world's fourteen 8000-meter peaks. The mountain was first conquered by a Japanese party in 1956.

The new watch includes features such as Triple Sensors, Freely-operating hands indicate direction, atmospheric pressure and altitude and temperature, measured by Triple Sensors.

It has also Smart Access: One simple crown allows for easy use of multiple functions, independently driving the hour, minute, second, and indicator hands using separate motors for smoothness.

In addition to Zaratsu polishing of the bezel, this prestige model features a sapphire glass watch crystal giving a non-reflective windshield. Titanium-carbide for the bezel, back, and band make the watch both tough and light.

Special features: Tough Movement with shock-resistance, Multi Band 6 radio-controlled system, which can receive time calibration signals from six transmission stations worldwide and Tough Solar power system (for solar-charging).

The new model will be priced at 135,000 yen (before tax).
