Tokyo -- Your Party leader Yoshimi Watanabe blasted Japanese bureaucrats at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan today, arguing that if they are left unchallenged, there is the possibility that "bureaucratic fascism" will return, as had once been the case in the 1930s.

"I oppose the power of the bureaucrats because they are a group of people who are anonymous. As a result, they are able to do as they wish and yet not be held responsible when they make mistakes," he said.
