JAL Would Sell Retired 747 Jumbo Jets to Iran 'for a Good Price': Inamori

Tokyo -- Kazuo Inamori, Chairman of Japan Airlines (JAL), said Wednesday that his company is willing to sell some of its retired Jumbo Jets 747 "to anyone who is willing to pay a good price" including, perhaps, Iran.

Speaking at the Foreign Correspondents' Club of Japan, Inamori was replying to a question by a reporter on whether or not his company would be willing to sell some of these used jets to Iran. The reporter said that the current Iranian Ambassador in Tokyo has informed Mr. Inamor...
