Launching a RIMPAC Position

Pacific Ocean- Aviation boatswain's mates direct an F/A-18F Super Hornet from Strike Fighter Squadron 154 into launching position aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, according to the U.S. Navy.

Nimitz recently got underway to participation in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) training exercise, the world's largest international maritime exercise.
