MOFA Employees Pay Respects to Matchimura

A hearst carrying the remains of former Japanese Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura passes the Foreign Ministry today (June 4) in Tokyo while ministry employees line up to pay their respects.

Machimura, who was speaker of Japan's House of Representatives until recently, died Monday (June 1, 2015) of a stroke at a Tokyo hospital. He was 70.
