Petition submitted to cancel Aichi-Israeli matching program

TOKYO: A request has been submitted to the Aichi Prefectural Assembly to cancel the Aichi-Israel Matching Program, which allows selected companies in Israel to conduct collaboration with companies in Aichi Prefecture.

Representative SHIMOOKU Naho sponsored the submission, which was backed by 118 organizations and covered in the local press.

Relevant Technologies for the program include AI & data, industrial technologies, enterprise, national security, smart mobility, health tech, fintech, IoT, robotics, telecommunications, materials, and inspection.

The program is self-financed. Selected Israeli companies can receive support and close assistance in establishing cooperation with a Japanese company and in business development.

Those applying need to have a technological and innovative solution that matches the challenges of Japanese companies and display a level of technological innovation and uniqueness.

The applicant must also demonstrate the ability of its management team to bring about the completion of the plan and its business implementation.
